The hard parts of this trade — handled

Twin vs single sockets

A single-socket symbol is often drawn inside the twin variant — pixel tools count the twin as one of each. The engine understands containment: when a location matches both, the more complete symbol wins and the subset is suppressed. One accessory, one count.

Switch-family look-alikes

1-gang, 2-gang, 2-way and intermediate switches differ by a stroke or two. Each candidate location is assigned to exactly one class — the template that explains the most drawn ink at that spot — instead of every variant matching everywhere.

Symbols on the wiring

Accessories sit on containment runs and circuit wiring that pixel matchers read as part of the symbol. Vector matching checks the symbol's own strokes and ignores the noise crossing through it.

Rotated wings and mirrored plans

Building wings drawn at odd angles rotate every symbol with them. Matching is rotation-invariant at any angle — not just the four right angles — so a rotated wing counts like a straight one.
